Youth Skills Coordinator

Christopher Mureiithi Warui

Chris is a youth skills coordinator with over 15 years of experience managing youth empowerment programs across the world for diverse communities, including homeless and Out-of-Home-Care youth, and refugees. He brings to Toolkit this extensive experience, which he draws on to lead Toolkit’s Youth Technical Skills Training Pillar for disadvantaged youth and Toolkit’s Recognition of Prior Learning program. Chris draws on his well-developed networks within the construction and artisanal sectors to cultivate apprenticeship and job placement opportunities for youth, ensuring they are linked to gainful employment. He is also the Toolkit Representative in the Permanent Working Group (PWG) on TVET in Kenya, representing Toolkit locally and internationally.

Chris holds Diplomas in Counselling Psychology and Social Work and over ten certificates in youth empowerment, mental healthcare and communications for people with disabilities.
